Carlsbad is just 30 miles north of San Diego and is a true 'Village By the Sea' with many antique stores, boutiques, sidewalk cafes and restaurants and a great beach.

Carlsbad's main attraction, aside from the beach is Legoland theme park. The American version of the original Legoland in Denmark is a fun place to visit not only for the young but also for people of all ages. The sight of monuments constructed from the little plastic bricks is bound to bring back childhood memories.

Del Mar Races, Wild Animal Park, San Diego Zoo, Old Town, Sea World, Seaport Village, Old Mexico, Disneyland Park and Knott's Berry Farm are all located within less than an hour drive from Carlsbad.
